Here is a quick overview of my pictures. Remember that they are Licensed under Creative Commons; Attribution – No Derivative Works. Which in layman’s terms means if you wanna use it for a PowerPoint presentation you are welcome, as long as you put my name under the picture, either as “Photographer: Mark Morsi” or “© Mark Morsi”. Needles to say you cant charge people for my pictures, and you are not allowed to alter them either, hence the No Derivatives. If you feel like you would like to use my pictures for commercial or derivative purposes you can contact me to arrange a commercial agreement with the full resolution pictures.
THIS PAGE IS VERY MUCH A WORK IN PROGRESS! so please be patient
UPDATE October 2009: So it’s running but not really looking pretty… It’s an implementation of a very basic script from the Media Library Gallery plug-in, unfortunately the author doesn’t seem to be working on the plug-in anymore, so I am going to have to work on that myself. It doesn’t play well with posts not made in the default editor, so anything uploaded with WordPress for iPhone or the YAPB plugin will look weird and second I would like it to directly link to the posts and not to the individual picture. But I don’t have the time the next couple of month so again; patience is a virtue.
UPDATE Marts 2010: Okay so this just doesn’t seem to be possible only option I can find (just spent 2 hours testing) is the Media Library Gallery by Raphael Verchere, which seriously needs some customization to meet my needs. You look at it and think it’s not pretty, at all! actually all I want is the name of the post that the image is linked to and the ability to click on it, and go to the post. Alternatively a click on the picture should open a light-room effect. The light-room effect happens now when you click the title of the image. So in short it’s technologically possible, but needs some work under the hood and it seem like more than just a little bit of CSS tweaking. Meaning I won’t get around to it any time soon, and speaking of CSS tweaking I had to increase thumbnail size of my images to make other parts of the design look neat, causing the gallery to look even more messed up FIXED. Just to add to the fun: WordPress for iPhone doesn’t seem to attach the pictures to the posts F*&$…(stream of nasty words best not put into print). Woosha Woosha… patience
